Frederick Davis

Frederick Carl Davis was born November 11, 1958, in Lorain, Ohio to the union of Thressa and Edward King Davis. Frederick transitioned to peace and his heavenly home on Friday, October 11, 2024, at Toledo HospitalFrederick was preceded in death by his mother and father; his maternal grandparents, Althea and William Fletcher; and sister Vicky E. ShannonFrederick was born in Lorain, Ohio and raised in Toledo since the early 60's. Frederick attended various schools in the Toledo area, then went on to receive his GED later in life. Frederick did a short stay in the Navy. Frederick went to trade school and became a Brick Mason, he worked on many projects in the Toledo area. Frederick could fix your car with his eyes closed! He could fix anything in your house. He loved to dance, roller-skate and swim. After Fredericks unfortunate accident when he lost his hands, he could still be found doing things like fixing things around the house, fixing cars or guiding someone how to fix their car, moving furniture barbequing and riding his bike around town. Frederick taught his daughter Za'ryiha how to ride a full-size bike with no training wheels when she was 3 years old. They used to ride up to Redeemer Lutheran Church where Frederick liked working with the kids during the summer program and working for the food pantry program. Frederick was determined to live life as usual. He was featured on the cover of the Ability Center Monthly published magazine because he never let the fact that he lost his arms, stop him from doing anything.Frederick is survived by his children, son, Eric Hill (Frieda), daughters, Una Love, Althea Marie Crenshaw, and Za'ryiha Moenae Davis; brothers, Isaac Fletcher (Peggy), Eric Davis, William Davis (Lana) of Euclid OH, and Mark Francis of Lorain, OH; sister, Crystal Francis of Lorain, OH. 11 grandchildren, Samia Hill, Eric L. Hill Jr., Jazire Green, Stephan Hill, Eric Hill, Erion Hill, Molan Watson, Alexis Robinson, Erica Hill, Sontae Harris Green and Kalil Brown; and 13 Great-grandchildren. Special friends, Roslyn Fambro, God-sister, Kathy Taylor, Rogers Jackson, Chris Branson, Pam Gordon of Charlotte, NC and a host of other family and friendsI would like to give a special thank you to Pastor Garrett Sr, Rev.
