Frances Irene Weills

Frances Irene Weills, 91, passed away peacefully on July 16, 2022. Fran was born to William and Edith Hardinger on August 22, 1930 and was later fostered by Joe and Hazel Dreps. She graduated from Scott High School and married Milton Dick Otto Weills on January 14, 1950. The couple had two children, Daniel Richard Weills and Rebecca Jo Paszkiet. Fran worked and retired from Champion Spark Plug in 1989.In her youth, Fran loved to sew and bake cakes. She also loved to host parties in her home and was an avid bowler and card player. In her later years, you could find her, gardening in her yard and enjoying cookouts with family. Above all, Fran was a devoted mother and grandmother.Frances is preceded in death by her husband, Milton Dick Weills; her sister, Evelyn Lorenz and son-in-law, Michael Paszkiet.Left to cherish her memory are her children, Daniel (Julie) Weills and Rebecca Paszkiet; her grandchildren, Andy, Jamie, Dan Jr., Courtney and Nikki and ten great-grandchildren.The family will receive friends during the time of visitation on Friday July 22, 2022 from 5-7 PM at Blanchard-Strabler Funeral Home (3219 Tremainsville at Alexis, 419-269-1111). A Funeral Service will be held for Fran on Saturday July 23, 2022 at 11 A.M., where friends will be received after 10:30 A.M.
