Frances Thompson, 92 years old, was called home to our Father in Heaven on Wednesday June 17, 2015, 3:20am at Valley View Nursing Home, Fremont, Ohio. The fifth youngest of seven children, she was born in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania on August 26, 1922 to Maxim and Pelagia Kulick. She married Frank A. Thompson on September 7, 1945 and was a working mother who raised six loving children on their farm in Conneaut, Ohio. Famous for her delicious pies and canned foods, she was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She worked hard at creating a nurturing home on the farm where her children and grandchildren share countless wonderful memories. She dedicated her life to caring for her family and will continue to influence their lives. She was preceded in death by her parents, Maxim and Pelagia Kulick, her husband, Frank Thompson, her brothers, Michael and Maetro Kulick, and her sisters, Mary Patti, Ann Gamble, Catherine Duh, Rosalie Regina. She is survived by her children Frank Thompson Jr., Mark Thompson, Cynthia Edkins, Renee Monda, Monica Puchan, Tina Kucera, and lots of loving grand-children and great-grand-children. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 30, 2015, 2pm, at Greenlawn Memory Gardens Cemetery, 3140 E Center Street, North Kingsville, OH 44068. Blanchard-Strabler Funeral Home, Toledo, OH (419-269-1111) is handling arrangements.
