Florence M. Stemen

Florence M. (Dunn) Stemen, was promoted to Glory on October 17, 2015. She was born September 28, 1923 in Toledo to Thomas L. Dunn & Agnes (Brown) Dunn of Scotland. She was proud of her Scottish heritage. She was a graduate of Woodward High School and retired from the City of Toledo, Taxation Department after many years. She always had a helping hand and a kind word for all, especially the grandkids. She will be missed for her quick wit and warm smile, not to mention there wasnt a better cook or baker in town. She missed greatly, her son, Robert, Sr., and her grandson, Robert,Jr. who preceded her to Heaven along with 7 brothers and sisters. Left to cherish her memory are, daughter, Patricia Davies of FL; grandson, Joseph V. Stemen, Sr.; great-grandson, Joseph V. Stemen, Jr.; great-grandaughter, Jennifer Stemen and daughter-in-law, Dolores Stemen. Friends will be received at Blanchard-Strabler Funeral Home (1163 W. Sylvania at Lockwood, 419-269-1111) on Thursday from 4-8 PM, where Services will be held on Friday at 10 AM.
