Esther Janet Benner

Esther Janet Benner, daughter of Velda (Rising) Gage and George Gage was born November 15, 1919, married Charles Benner on March 29, 1941 and passed away May 30, 2013 at Hickory Ridge of Temperance. Survived by her only child, daughter Beverly Jacobs; grandchildren, William Jacobs, Cherly LeFevre, Dawn Henderson, Brian Benner, Bruce Benner, Bradley Benner; Bethany Erkens, 4 step-granddaughters; 11 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great granddaughter; sister, Phyllis Geisel; daughters-in-law, Mary Hammack and Joan Johnston. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 54 years, Charles; son, Roger Benner; brother, Forest Weaver and 1 great-grandson. Friends will be received at HH Birkenkamp Funeral Home (3219 Tremainsville @ Alexis, (419-473-1301) on Monday from 2-8 PM, where Services will be held on Tuesday at 9:30 AM.
