Ericka Bennett

Ericka Nickolle Anderson (Bennett) , 49, passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.Ericka, known to her loved ones as Nikki was born on March 30, 1974 to her loving mother Sabrina Mathis and father Cecil. Ericka graduated with honors in cosmetology from Job Corp.Ericka later went on to marry her high school sweetheart and forever husband, Tony Anderson Sr with whom she shared four children: Tonisha Anderson, Monique Anderson, Tony Lee Anderson Jr, Dallas Anderson and granddaughter Kennedy Anderson.Ericka was truly a light to those who knew her and she was loved wherever she went.Ericka is preceded in death by her late mother Sabrina Mathis, late father Cecil and her late grandfather Melvin McCoy Sr.She leaves to cherish her memories; forever husband Tony Anderson Sr. and children Tonisha Nickolle (Kennedy), Monique, Tony Jr, and Dallas. As well as, her very special sister Nickema Turner and Ericka's beloved nieces Britney and Taylor Turner, her grandmother Dorothy McCoy, her special aunts Yolanda McCoy, Fredricka McCoy and special uncle Melvin McCoy Jr, in addition to her special cousins Mel'Keshia McCoy and special cousin Fred McCoy and a host of other family and friends near and far.She is survived by her four children, her granddaughter and her forever husband.Although Ericka's sun has set, her beautiful smile, her bubbly sense of humor and her vibrant personality lives on in the hearts of those who loved her.
