Elma Mary Morrison

Elma M. Morrison was born November 8, 1910, in Piqua, Ohio. Her parents were Mary and Frederick Sage. The family moved to Marion, Ohio in 1914. Elma graduated from Wooster College in 1933 and Ohio State University in 1934. She taught English in Junior High until her marriage to Osmond Bus Morrison. They moved to Maumee, Ohio and later to Toledo, Ohio. She was active in the First Presbyterian Church of Maumee, the Up River Garden Club, Maumee River Yacht Club Auxiliary, in Girl Scouts and a member of Thomas Organ Club. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and daughter, Ann Hess. She is survived by her daughter, Margaret Sue (Richard) Powell; son-in-law, Dr. T.W. Hess; grandchildren, Michael, David and Stephen Powell, Jeanne Powell-Dotson, Eric and Karl Hess; 5 loving great-grandchildren.
