Ellen Bridge

Ellen Martha Morrissey Bridge (February 5, 1945 October 20, 2021). She was employed as a caregiver and cook at Golden Haven Nursing Home for 3 years and at Small World Day Care for 35 years. A faithful, loving Wife, Christian Servant of God and a Blessed Prayerful Mediator on behalf of others. Ellen went home to be with Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior on Wednesday, October 20, 2021. She is free from the burdens and pain of this world as she looks forward to seeing each and everyone of those who passed in Heaven. She loved her family and Church family very much and even though it is time to say goodbye for now, its not goodbye forever. Ellen used to look forward to family reunions here, shell be waiting with arms wide open at the greatest suppertime of them all to meet everyone again. Please make sure you have Jesus in your heart so you can join her there. Nothing would make her happier, knowing that her prayer for your soul to be eternally secure in the Lord was answered. Ellen was married to Richard Bridge Sr. for 45 years before his passing. She is survived by her devoted children and their spouses, Rick (Michelle) Bridge Jr., JoAnne (Frank) Bridge Hornik and Amy (Keith Sr.) Bridge Blackwood. Ellen is also survived by her grandchildren, Matthew (Ashley), Racheal, Isaiah, Michaiah, Keith Jr., Parker, and Sawyer. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Neil, Colleen, and Terry. Ellen is survived by her siblings Kathleen, Richie, Anne, Larry, Eddie, Jim, Bobby, Alan, John and Tom. Services will be on Saturday, October 30, beginning at 11:00 am at Lewis Avenue Baptist Church, 6320 Lewis Ave. Temperance, Michigan 48133. Pastor Steve Hobbins will be officiating.
