Elizabeth Spoerl

Elizabeth J. Liz Spoerl, age 79, of Toledo, died November 3, 2016, at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born September 30, 1937, in Toledo to Mr. and Mrs. Adam (Anna Kotowicz) Majewski. She was a graduate of Woodward High School. She was employed at Lasalle's Photo Studio, Northwood Photo Studio and Colonial Cleaners. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Parish, where she served as a Eucharistic Minister. Survived by her loving husband, married in 1958, Dale Spoerl; children, Cynthia (Allen) Lather, Steven Spoerl, Kimberly Spielman (Victor Rhodes) and Karen Collins; 16 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; siblings, Rosemary Amborski, Phyllis Taylor, Anthony Majewski and Martha Majewski; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, James Majewski and Adam Majewski Jr. Friends will be received at Blanchard-Strabler Funeral Home (1163 W. Sylvania at Lockwood, 419-269-1111) on Sunday from 2-8 p.m. with a scripture service at 7. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday at 10 a.m. at Most Blessed Sacrament Church.
