Elizabeth A. Cherry

Elizabeth A. Cherry, age 79 of Toledo, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at Ebeid Hospice. She was born in Toledo to the late Charles and Helen Burke. Elizabeth was employed for 36 years with the City of Toledo in different departments, retiring in 1995. She was a longtime member of Rosary Alter Society with St. Clement Church and for many years helped with the funeral luncheons. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Cherry. Elizabeth is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth (Sandra) Burke, niece, Elizabeth (Greg) Soto, nephew, Randall Burke, great nieces, Isabella and Maria Soto. She is also survived by her extended Cherry family. Visitation will be Monday, November 30, 2015 at H. H. Birkenkamp Funeral Home, 3219 Tremainsville Rd from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Visitation will continue on Tuesday at St Clement Catholic Church from 9:00 am until 10:00 am to follow with Mass of the Christian Burial at 10:00 am.
