Elaine Patton

Elaine Patton, age 80, formerly of Holland, died September 22, 2023, at Otterbein of Monclova, where she was a resident. Elaine was born January 2, 1943, in Toledo to the late Clarence and Martha (Tomaszewski) Michalak.

She was a homemaker and worked in the office at Kellermeyer until retiring in 2008. In her free time Elaine enjoyed a nice dinner out, crocheting, and spending time with her beloved family. She was also an animal lover, especially her dogs.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Laurie (Randy) Rose, Jeffery (Lynn) Patton, Donna (Paul) Buckenmeyer, Bruce (Beth) Patton, and Andrew (Brandi) Patton; 15 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Elaine was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Hobert, and sister, Carol McNeely.

Family and friends are invited to visit from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 12 p.m. on Wednesday, September 27, 2023, in the Walker Funeral Home, Holland Springfield Chapel, 7438 Airport Highway. Interment will follow at Springfield Township Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Elaine’s memory are suggested to the OHSU Foundation, CML research (PO Box 29017, Portland, OR 97296) or the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
