Elaine A. Klee

Elaine A. Klee, 85, of Toledo, Ohio passed away at Toledo Hospital on Tuesday, October 3, 2017. She was born in Ottawa, Illinois to Paul W. and Ruth M. (Gesswein) Eichelkraut and she married William Klee on July 5, 1953 also in Ottawa. Elaine and her family loved to travel and spent time extensively visiting the United States, Canada and even took several cruises. She was an active golfer and along with her husband, she marshalled at the Jamie Farr Golf tournament for 15 years. Elaine was also a member of the Pinehurst Country Club in North Carolina where she also volunteered for the Senior Open, US Open and PGA Tournament. She was a longtime member of Pilgrim Church in Toledo. Elaine is survived by loving husband, William Klee; daughters, Sandra E. Russell and Sharon A. Manuel; granddaughters, Melissa N. Russell and Krystal L. (Patrick) Stewart and one great granddaughter on the way. She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, William L. Eichelkraut. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at 1:30 p.m. at Pilgrim Church, 1375 W. Sylvania Ave, Toledo, Ohio 43612. Memorial contributions may be made to Pilgrim Church.
