Edward E. White

Edward E. White Aka Bob Wright June 19, 1921 Feb. 4, 2017 Edward E. White, 95, of Toledo, passed away at home. He was born in Mifflin Twp, Ohio. A degree from Ohio State in chemical engineering took him to Oklahoma, Texas and Virginia before returning to Ohio and settling in Toledo to work at Allied Chemical. A side career in music kept him active for many decades playing piano, organ and guitar at dances and dinners under the name of Bob Wright. He performed alone and with small groups. Edwards passion for being outdoors found him riding bicycles with many clubs both here and in Arizona. On the day of his last outing, he rode 44 miles at the age of 94. Edward was preceded in death by parents Stanley and Leona White as well as a son, Randy, and sisters: Betty Shadwick and Dorothy Johnson. He is survived by brother, Robert of New Albany; children Linda (James) Netcher, David (Sue) White and Jeffrey White; 10 grandchildren and 11 greats-grandchildren. Friends will be welcomed by family at the Memorial service to honor Edward on Wednesday, Feb. 22 at 11 AM at St. Andrew Methodist Church, 3620 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo.
