Earl Wiesenmayer was born October 22, 1929, in Toledo, Ohio to George and Helen Karsner Wiesenmayer. He died January 6, 2021 at Blue Creek Nursing Home at the age of 91. Earl served his country in the Army during the Korean War and was a member of the American Legion Post #384 Whitehouse, OH. Earl retired from Houghton Elevator where he was a supervisor. He enjoyed golf, fishing, going to garage sales, and puttering around his garage. For the last fifteen years, Earl has loved spending winters in Ft. Myers, FL with his friend, Marie Bremer, cousin, Jeannine Wiesenmayer Zwiebel, and her husband Marvin. Earl also enjoyed many fishing trips on Lake Erie with Marvin. He was an active member of Hope Baptist Church, and before the pandemic, enjoyed fellowship and weekly meals provided by Hope United Methodist in Whitehouse. He also enjoyed fellowship with his Bible Study group that met weekly over the past several years. Earl loved his dogs and was very active in the Kennel Club. He also appreciated his neighbors, Jerry and Debbie McQuillin, for helping him in so many ways throughout the years, and for Jack Knotts, for the special things he did. Earl was preceded in death by his parents; a brother and sister who died in infancy; wife Patricia Jean; and his dear friend, Marie Bremer. He will be greatly missed by those of us who loved him, but today he is walking on streets of gold in the Presence of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. No services will be held. Arrangements were handled by Walker Funeral Home – Holland-Springfield Chapel.
