Douglas Edward Carr

Douglas Carr, age 64 of Walbridge, died February 21, 2026 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. He was born April 4, 1961 to Mr. and Mrs. Donald (Murel Groll) Carr. He recently retired from Kroger in Oregon after 40+ years of service as a meat cutter. He was an avid fan of the Detroit Tigers and the Washington Redskins.

Survived by his loving wife Linda Carr; step-son, Christopher; brother, Bill; grandchildren, Cole and Farrah; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Carr mother, Murel Kontak and sister Kathleen Carr.

Friends will be received at the Robert Shank, Sr. Chapel at Sunrise Cremations and Funerals, Walbridge (701 N. Main St.) on Sunday March 1, 2026 from 1 PM until the time of Services at 3 PM.
