Douglas J. Boos

Douglas J. Boos was born on June 16, 1970. He passed away on January 20, 2021. Doug graduated from Lake High School in 1988 and worked for Dallas Boos and Sons Roofing while also working for DeVernas Towing. Doug then worked for Croys Supper Club. He later worked as a technician for W.W. Williams. Doug was a certified firefighter, and worked on and was part of drag racing. Doug was also a Detroit Diesel Master Guild member, EVT certified, Waukesha engines , all two cycle engines, series 60, marine, and DDEC controls. He was also an active member of the Sons of Confederate. He is survived by his children, Dylan C. Boos, Sophie R. Boos, Maecie J. Boos; parents, Dennis J. Boos, Phyllis Angie Patterson; sister, Kimberly K. Boos; grandparents, Nova Patterson; many aunts and uncles; nephews, Kristopher and Korbin Bradford; and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandpa and grandma, Dallas and Dody Boos; and grandpa Jimmy Patterson. Friends will be received in the Witzler-Shank-Walker Funeral Home, 701 N. Main St., Walbridge, Ohio 43465 (419-666-3121) from 3-8 p.m. Tuesday, January 26, 2021 where funeral service will be Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Lake Twp. Cemetery. Memorial offerings for his children’s scholarship fund may be left at the funeral home or at Genoa Bank.
