Dorothy Ruth Johnson (Slowinski) Of Lambertville, Michigan passed away in her home January 13 2021. She was born to Andrew and Mary Slowinski April 15, 1929. After Dorothy's father passed away when she was 14 years old her mother married Elmer Floyd . She loved to travel, especially with her daughter, Gina, going on mini trips to Amish country, Renaissance festivals and other places. She loved to shop and go antiquing. Her passions were dancing, music, swimming and ice-skating. Her favorite holiday was Christmas. She worked at Plaskon Company Inc. where they made molded Bakelite products. She also worked at Franklin printing in the advertising department. She was also a homemaker. She will be truly and dearly missed. She was a loving mother to her children. Dorothy was Roman Catholic and attended St. Hyacinth, St. Adalbert in Toledo and St. Anthony in Temperance, MI.She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Stanley Richard Johnson; her father Andrew Slowinski; her mother Mary Floyd; her loving stepfather Elmer Floyd. She survived by her sister Delores Chi -Chi Floyd; Children, Stephen Marciniak (Karen), David Marciniak. Thomas Marciniak, Matthew Krolczyk, Regina Krolczyk and Christine Sargent (Johnson); grandchildren, Nathanial Richard Mills, Brooke (Nathan) Lewis, Brian (Lisa) Marciniak; Great grandsons, Ronan Lewis, Gunner and Gauge Marciniak.Friends will be received at Blanchard-Strabler Funeral Home (3219 Tremainsville @ Alexis, 419-269-1111) on Monday from 6-8 PM. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 1030 AM at St. Clement Catholic Church, Toledo. Burial, Whiteford Union Cemetery.
