Dorothy Campbell

Dorothy Jane Campbell Fuss, 90, of Point Place, passed away in her sleep on August 20 at Kingston Rehab of Perrysburg. Dorothy grew up in Toledo's South End, youngest of six children of Herbert and Florence (Kelch) Campbell. She attended grade school at nearby St. Charles, graduated from Central Catholic High School, and for most of her career worked for Catholic Charities in downtown Toledo.At 16 she met her life partner Kenny Fuss, who preceded her in death in 2020. Dorothy and Kenny took multiple trips to Alaska and New England, and enjoyed vacationing in Copper Harbor, Michigan, where they were married in 2004.In addition to her parents and husband, Dorothy was pre-deceased by siblings: Helen and Dwight Jones; Frank and Libby Campbell; Paul and Jeanne Campbell; Leo and June Campbell; and brother-in-law James Behrendt. Her sister Mary Behrendt survives in Holland, Ohio."Aunt Dorothy" will be missed by many nieces and nephews.Special appreciation goes to the very kind and patient staff of Kingston during the past 9 months.A memorial Mass will take place on Friday September 6, at 10 a.m., at Saint John the Baptist Catholic Church in Point Place, 5153 N.
