Doris E. Johnson

Doris Ellen Johnson, 83, of Toledo, OH passed away on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at Ebeid Hospice surrounded by her loving family. She was born on January 9, 1935 in Chicago Illinois to Donald W. and Florence (Smith) Johnston. Doris was a graduate of Wheaton Bible College and she spent many years employed with Key Bank and most recently Generations Financial before retiring in 2015. Doris was member of Westgate Chapel in Toledo for over 49 years, where she enjoyed attending church activities. In her younger years she also enjoyed boating. Doris was a devoted grandmother, great grandmother and loved spending time with family and friends. She will be greatly missed. Doris is survived by her loving sons, David (Tina) Johnson, Richard (Bridget) Johnson and William (Stacy) Johnson; grandchildren, Danielle (David) Jansen, Brittni (Miguel) Flores, Zach (Missy) Johnson, McCall Johnson, Blake (Payton) Johnson, Kade Johnson, Seth Johnson and Carrie (Kenny) Repass; 6 great-grandchildren; brother, Donald W. Johnston, Jr. and many extended family and close friends. She is preceded in death by her parents. Friends will be received on Monday, March 26, 2018 from 12:00 to 1:00 pm at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park, 4210 Central Ave, Toledo, OH 43606 in the Peace Mausoleum where funeral services will be held after the visitation at 1:00 pm.
