Donna L. (Fox) Weber was born on August 23, 1930, to Donald and Gertrude Fox at the old Flower Hospital. She graduated from Whitmer High School in 1948. Donna worked at the DeVilbiss Company, where she met her special guy, Kenneth (Kenny) Weber. He did not ask her out until he found out she was 18 years old and of legal age. They married at Blessed Sacrament in the Rectory as Donna was not Catholic at the time. The lovebirds married on October 14, 1950. Donna took courses in business at Stautzenberger College. She worked at Tiedtke’s Department Store and Sears in the collections department. Their daughter Linda was born in 1951, and Barbara was born in 1955. Her favorite activities included bowling, reading mystery novels, playing bingo, camping during the summers for over 30 years at Manapogo Park near Orland, IN. While camping, she liked to go fishing, especially with her grandchildren, playing bingo, riding her bike, and taking walks. Donna also loved the Detroit Tigers, listening to country western and big band music.
Surviving are her daughters, Linda Weber, Barbara Bauchman Bedsole; Son-In-Law, Steven Bedsole; grandchildren, Michelle (Andrew) Paulson, Michael (Cara Silletto) Bauchman, and Great Grandchildren, Alexandria Paulson, Miles Paulson, and Everett Bauchman.
