Donna M. Everhardt

Donna M. Everhardt, age 90, peacefully passed away at her home on the morning of October 1, 2026.

Donna was born on April 8, 1936, in Curtice, Ohio, to John and Ruth (Henninger) Sayen. She lived an extremely full and good life, filled with love, adventure, creativity, and devotion to her family and friends.

Donna enjoyed traveling and vacationing on her Harley-Davidson motorcycle with her beloved husband, Larry. Together, they shared a passion for boating and spent many happy days hopping among the local Lake Erie islands. They also enjoyed traveling in their motor home and spending time in Florida.

A talented crochet artist, Donna lovingly created countless handmade blankets for Honor Flight veterans and hospice patients, sharing her gifts and compassion with others.

Donna is survived by her loving husband, Larry; children, Melvin (Carol) Blausey, Marilyn (Mike) Vanderveer, Kathy Bloomfield, and Vicky Denison; grandchildren, Jamie, Justin, Amanda, Beth, David, Jr., Brian; and great-grandchildren, Olivia, Marley, Alma, Odin, Eleanor, Lennon, Annie, and Landon.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Ruth (Henninger) Sayen; brother, Ted; and son-in-law, David, Sr.

Visitation will be held Thursday, October 8, 2026, beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the Robert L. Shank Chapel, Sunrise Cremations and Funerals, 701 N. Main Street, Walbridge, Ohio, and continue until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 Noon. Burial will follow at Lake Township Cemetery.
