Donald E. Edwards

Donald E. Edwards, 90, passed away on December 17, 2022. He was born in Toledo, OH on September 28, 1932 to the late Howard and Wanda (Borkowski) Edwards. Donald was a retired roofer with Local 134. He was a hardworking, humble man. His numerous skills enabled him to build his own home. He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps.

He is survived by children, Kimberly M. Edwards, Diane (Mark) Stanfa and Donald J. Edwards; 4 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren; he is also survived by his brother, Richard (Kay) Edwards of Glendale, AZ; and loving companion of 18 years, Joanna Hullinger and her family. Donald is preceded in death by his wife, Shirley (Centgraf) Edwards in 2004; sister, Betty Sunday; and brothers, William H. Edwards and Gerald Edwards.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 from 3:00 to 7:00 pm in the Walker Funeral Home, Holland-Springfield Chapel, 7438 Airport Highway, Holland, OH 43528 (419-865-8879). Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 22 at 10:00 am in the funeral home. Entombment will follow in Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.
