Donald (Don) Clarence Blesing

Donald (Don) Clarence Blesing, beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away on November 3, 2025 at the age of 81.

Born on November 8, 1943, in Toledo, Ohio, to the late John and Marian (Bothe) Blesing. Don grew up alongside his four brothers, sharing a lifelong bond filled with laughter, loyalty, and love. He retired as a Union Representative for UAW Local 12.

He was preceded in death by his devoted wife, Janette Blesing, with whom he shared countless cherished memories and many happy years together, as well as by his brothers Dick, Dennis, and Doug Blesing.

Don will be remembered for his kind heart, easygoing nature, and love for spending time with family and friends. He had a true passion for classic cars and could often be found at car shows, swapping stories, admiring the details, and connecting with others who shared his enthusiasm. Don was also an avid golfer who found joy and friendship on the course.

He is survived by his son, Bradley Blesing (Christine Floyd); daughter, Kimberly Blesing (Daniel Romine); grandchildren, Kevin Blesing, Megan Floyd, Kara Floyd, and Chloe Romine; great-grandchild, Leighton Willard; and his brother, Dave (Sue) Blesing.

Don lived a life full of love, laughter, and simple joys — and his memory will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. Don will be lovingly remembered by his family and friends, who will miss him dearly.

The family will hold a graveside service at a later date.
