Donald B Buzzard

Donald B. Buzzard, 72 years old, died peacefully on September 13, 2015 in hospice care surrounded by his family. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on September 8, 1943 to Freda and Bruce Buzzard. Don worked for Peoples Jewelry assisting in fixing watches and other customer service jobs until 2006, when his health started to decline. Don loved to go bowling when he was younger and he also enjoyed watching marching bands especially the Bugle Corps. Don is survived by his daughters, Debbie (Greg) Hale and Lydia Payne; grandchildren, Stephanie Mivsek, Austin Payne and Steven Castro; sister, Nancy (Dennis) Gruhler; nephew, Douglas (Lori) Gruhler and niece, Jill (Eric) Tayfel. A memorial service will be held for Don at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park, 4210 W. Central Ave. Toledo, Ohio in the Peace Mausoleum on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. Burial will follow the service. Memorial contributions in Dons name may be made to a charity of your choice. Arrangements were entrusted to H.H. Birkenkmp (419-473-1301).
