Diana Lynn Pylant

Diana Lynn Pylant, 64, of Walbridge passed away February 8, 2023, at St. Charles. She was born in Rhode Island on June 18, 1958, to Mildred (Dennis) and George Auger. She married her sweetheart, David L. Pylant on October 27, 1979, and spent 43 years together.

Diana worked in IT, she was employed over the years at Leaseway Transportation, Columbia Gas, Norris and even taught at Penta Adult Ed in the computer department. She loved riding horses, bowling, and telling stories. She cared for animals, especially dogs. Diana was a loving wife, mother, and sister who will be greatly missed.

Diana is survived by her husband, David Pylant; son, Derick Pylant; daughter, Darcy (Hayley) Pylant-Ruskinoff; a grandchild on the way; brother, George (Deidra) Auger, and Rodney (John) Auger; stepmother, Debbie Auger; mother-in-law, Doris Pylant; brother-in-law, Ronald Pylant and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Xander; father-in-law, William Curtis; and stepbrother, Jason Lajzer.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, February 25, 2023, at Packer-Hammersmith Center (761 S. Lallendorf Rd., Oregon, Ohio) from 11 am – 6 pm. All family and friends are welcome.
