Diana J. Chasteen

Diana “Diane” J. Chasteen, age 83, of Walbridge, Ohio, passed away in the care of Hospice of Northwest Ohio – Perrysburg on March 3, 2024. Diane was born to John Methena and Dorothy Large on August 8, 1940, in Toledo, Ohio. Diane worked as a general manager at Tony Packo’s for many years. She cared for her family deeply.

Diane is survived by her children, Crystal Chasteen and Marvin “Jack” (Beth) Chasteen Jr., siblings, Beth (Bob) Curavo, Kathy Chasteen, and Jim (Melanie) Sharp, special cousins, Clara Yanez and Shelley Serres, and many nieces and nephews that were close to her heart. She is preceded in death by her mother and father, stepmother, Carol Methena, stepfather, Harold Compton, siblings, Terry Methena, Ben Methena, Jim Mathena, Judy Kohli, John Methena Jr., William “Bill” Methena, and Mike Methena, and special cousin, David Yanez.

Friends and family may be received from 12:00pm-3:00pm on Saturday, March 9, 2024, at Witzler-Shank-Walker Funeral Home – Walbridge, 701 N. Main Street, Walbridge, Ohio 43465. A memorial service for Diane will be held in the funeral home at 3:00pm on Saturday, March 9, 2024. Memorial donations may be made in Diane’s honor to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
