Derek DeMuth, age 56 of Walbridge, Ohio passed away on May 6, 2025 at home after a three year battle with cancer. He was born November 7, 1968 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to Charles and Beverly (Nagle) DeMuth.
Derek was a worker and as a child delivered newspapers and did odd jobs for many years in Walbridge. He drove semi-trucks, most recently for a contractor hauling FedEx Ground freight. Derek could fix anything, especially cars. He was to many people, a MacGyver you could count on to always lend a helping hand. He had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to make people laugh. Rooting for Ohio State football was a favorite hobby and he rarely missed a game.
