Dennis Nelson Womack

Dennis Nelson Womack was born in Pensacola Florida on May 23, 1958, to Ivery Lee Womack and JessieNelson Womack Jr., both deceased. Nelson (Dad) received his General Education Diploma from JobCorps in 1977. But it was wrestling and football in highschool that prepared him to enlist in the UnitedStates Army, where he served for 3 years as a Personnel Administration Specialist, and was honorablydischarged.Sometime after, he returned to Toledo, OH, where he met and married Cheryl Womack (Davis), andbecame a father to 4 children.Nelson lived a life full of love. As an empath, he always sought opportunities to help others, oncereceiving a medal for saving a drowning boy's life at a lake.Nelson enjoyed watching movies, listening to music, riding bikes, playing pool, bowling, basketball,fishing, and being with his family. He was also very "fashionable." Long drives and beautiful scenerybrought him peace.While he was a jack of many trades (especially painting), an extremely hard worker, Nelson is mostremembered not by the places he worked, but by the love he gave to those around him. And the thinghe was most proud of were his children. We look forward to the day where we can once againexperience his contagious laugh, positive energy, and unrelenting love, when Jehovah God raises himback to life in paradise, on earth, the way he originally purposed.Dennis is survived by a large and loving family of siblings, children and grandchildren.
