Dennis Bennett

Dennis P. Bennett, age 67 of Toledo, Ohio, passed away Friday, February 17, 2017 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. He was born August 23, 1949 in Shawnee Town, Oklahoma. Dennis was very proud of his American Indian heritage. Dennis was self-employed as a martial arts instructor. He was a 10th degree grand master with AME-Kenpo and earned several black belts in many systems. Dennis was very active with the Boys and Girls Club, teaching martial arts and was captain of the USA Karate team in 1987. He was preceded in death by his parents, Perry and Jeanette Bennett. Dennis is survived by his wife, Denise Bennett, children: Heather, Shane, Sacheen, Joshua, Joseph, Brian, Fauna, Jerry, Mark, Ashley and Devin, 15 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Also siblings, Barry and Kim. To honor Denniss wishes, there will not be any visitation or funeral services. Memorial contributions may be given to St. Judes Children Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to Hospice of Northwest Ohio, 30000 E River Rd, Perrysburg, Ohio.
