Delia Mcclelland

Delia E. McClelland transitioned to her life on October 24, 2024. Born to Augusta J. Freeman and John E Freeman on February 20, 1932, in Birmingham, Alabama.Delia moved to Toledo in 1955, where she met and married Alfred McClelland. She held several jobs during her adult life, the longest being Owens Illinois. Throughout her life, she was actively involved in Church, civic, political and social organizations. Delia was always a willing worker to get the task done, and to give out advice with love. She loved music, especially hymns and directing many choirs.Delia is survived by her son, Benjamin McClendon Jr. Many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Preceding her in death are her parents, sister, and her husband. Delia will sadly be missed by all those that she touched in her life.
