Debra M. Girts age 51, of Sylvania, Ohio, died peacefully Saturday, April 7, 2012 at home. She was born in Toledo on August 27, 1960 to Harold and Irene Firsdon. Debra loved spending time with her family and friends and she enjoyed caring for people. Debra was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her loving husband, John Sr.; son, John Jr.; brothers, Harold, Mike, Ronald and Terry (Francine) Firsdon; sister, Linda (Wallace) Ward. Visitation for Debra will be at H.H. Birkenkamp Funeral Home, 3219 Tremainsville Rd (419-473-1301) on Tuesday, April 10 from 2:00 pm-8:00 pm. Funeral Services will be Wednesday at the funeral home beginning at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions are asked to be made to the Kidney Foundation of Northwest Ohio.
