David Wozniak

David Z. Wozniak, age 72 of Toledo passed away on Wednesday, July 1, 2015, at his home. David was born on September 17, 1942, in Toledo, Ohio to Leo and Stella (Knakiewicz) Wozniak. He worked for Dana Corporation for many years, retiring in 1992. David enjoyed working outside around his home. He enjoyed gardening, decorating for the holidays, cooking, and antiquing. David was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Terri Wozniak; brother, John, and sisters, Dorothy, Paula, and Ruth. He is survived by his daughter, Kristin Wozniak; 30 year companion, Mary Wilson; grandchildren, Brian, Candace (Rob), Cody, Christopher, Harper, Lillian, and John; great-grandchildren, Haley, Shaun, and Cassidy; soon to be great-grandchild, Ellie; future great-grandchild; stepchildren, Robert, Melissa, and Raymond; brother, Richard Wozniak, and sister, Janice Turner. A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, July 9 at 7 p.m. at Blanchard-Strabler Funeral Home, 1163 W. Sylvania Ave. 419-269-1111 with Celebrant, Fr. Phillip Smith. The family will great guest from 5-7 p.m. -Arrangements under the direction of Blanchard-Strabler Funeral Home, Toledo, OH.
