David Ruch

David Alan Ruch, 66, passed away on Monday March 25, 2019 at St. Annes Mercy Hospital of health complications and battling liver failure. Dave was born on August 14, 1952 in Toledo, Ohio. He graduated from Sylvania High School class of 1970 and went on to serve in the U.S. Army National Guard. As a young child, Dave loved being a Boy Scout. He was on the cross country and basketball team in high school. He played hockey for Tam O Shanter. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed playing golf, fishing and hunting. He also loved the outdoors and spending time at the boat dock cooking out with family and friends. Dave had many wonderful stories to share and loved to make everyone laugh. Dave is survived by his mother Genevieve (Snyder) Ruch; his wife Angela (Shadler) Ruch; daughters Crystl (Ruch) Evans and Cori (Jason) Ruch; his son Chance Ruch (Christian Shadler); grandchildren Colin Evans, Brayden Ruch, Jocelyn Evans and Jase Fifer; Siblings Rich (Chris) Ruch, Ron (Joyce) Ruch, Carol (Dave) Del Signore and Jim Ruch along with many other extended family members. Dave was preceded in death by his father Richard Ruch and brother Walter Ruch. We will be having a memorial service at 2pm with a reception following until 5pm at the Rosary Care Center 6832 Convent Blvd., Sylvania, Oh, 43560 on Friday, March 29, 2019. Dave supported this cause by walking with the Out of the Darkness walks to honor his late sister-in-law until his health wouldnt allow him to anymore.
