David L. Pelton

David L. Pelton, age 75 of Toledo, Ohio, passed away Friday, March 11, 2011. He was born in Toledo on June 9, 1935 to Rolph and Irene (Jennewine) Pelton. David was a brick layer and a Trilby volunteer firefighter. He enjoyed dancing, golf, playing and coaching football. He was a member of the Eagles and had a great sense of humor. David was preceded in death by his parents; son, Michael Pelton; sister, Patricia Lenhart; and step-father, George Armstrong. He is survived by his children, Thomas Pelton, Michelle Pelton, Shannon Pelton-Lenke and David (Jenni) Pelton; seven grandchildren; many loving great-grandchildren; sister, Linda (Richard) Ward; special friend and care giver, Irma Zingg; along with many friends and family. Visitation for David will be at H.H. Birkenkamp Funeral Home, 3219 Tremainsville (at Alexis) 419-473-1301 on Tuesday, March 15, from 2 pm-8 pm. Funeral mass will begin at 10 am Wednesday at St. Clement Church.
