David M. Lannen

David M. Lannen of Holland, Ohio passed on February 4th at 84 years old.

Born in Tyrone, Pennsylvania to Harry “H.L.” Lannen and Margaret (McNeal) Lannen, David had two sisters and was the youngest of seven brothers.

A retiree of the General Motors Powertrain plant after 47-years, he was a fixture of the Holland Strawberry Festival and volunteer for Homecoming Park baseball and softball programs for over 30-years. David is remembered as someone who was always willing to lend a hand, for his love of fishing and tinkering.

David is survived by his loving wife Sandra (Seyer) Lannen; children, Scott “Peanut” (Cathi), Jason (Melanie), Kevin (Kelly Hudik), Trevor “T.W.” (Carla); ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Family and friends will be received at the Ray Neville Chapel at Sunrise Cremations and Funerals, 7438 Airport Highway, Holland on Tuesday, February 10, 2026 from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m.

The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at Toledo Hospital, Encompass and Hospice of Northwest Ohio for the compassion they showed to David while he was in their care.
