David Gatewood

David R. Gatewood, 74 of Oregon, passed away June 9, 2022 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. He was born February 1, 1948 to John and Helen Gatewood in Toledo. David would go on to serve his country during the Vietnam War as a member of the United States Army 101st Airborne. Upon returning, he would go on to work for Generals Mills over 25 years. A family-oriented man, his faith was also very important to him, and David was an avid member of the Spirit Truth Church of Oregon. David is survived by his brother Russell Gatewood, sister Debra Gatewood, sister-in-law Cindy Gatewood, and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his brother Robert Gatewood, and parents John and Helen Gatewood. Memorial services will be announced at a later date.
