David Frisch

David D. “Moose” Frisch, 75, of Fremont, Ohio died unexpectedly from a fire at his home. He was born in Bellevue, Ohio on May 26, 1949, to Mary Magdalene (Eberl) and Daniel T. Frisch.

Moose was retired and enjoyed tinkering in his garage. He was outgoing and loved to party, being around his family and friends. He had a passion for Harley Davidson.

Moose is survived by his significant other, Lou “Squirrel” Szilagyi. They were together for 27 years and were inseparable. He also leaves to cherish his memory his stepson, Paul Szilagyi and stepdaughter, Maria Szilagyi; grandchildren, Autumn Byers, Audrey Byers, Malikeye, Micah, Brayden, and Kyler; great grandchildren, Tyrel Jr. and Teiya; siblings, Barbara Garmin, Thomas Frisch, Delores DeFriece, Anna Barmet, and Leonard Frisch. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Nicole Byers; and brother, James “Stretch” Frisch.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may go to the family. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Witzler Shank Walker Funeral Home, Walbridge, Ohio. Online condolences may be left to the family at walkerfuneralhomes.com.
