David Crawford

David Calvin Crawford, 45, of Walbridge, passed away on Wednesday, August 18, 2021. He was born on August 25, 1975, to Patricia and Gary Crawford in Toledo. David, affectionately referred to as Uncle D by his adoring niece, loved music. His favorites included Pink Floyd and the Beatles. He was a talented musician who played multiple instruments, but mainly focused on his guitar skills. David enjoyed traveling and gardening. He took pride in his tomato plants and always competed with the neighbors for best Halloween or Christmas decorations. David loved Tigers baseball and The Ohio State Buckeyes. David is survived by his loving parents, Patty and Gary; brother, Jeff; sister-in-law, Stephanie; niece, Lydia; grandmother, Bertha Crawford; aunts and uncles, Jan (Eddie) Baker, Sherry (Edward) Elmore, Ronnie (Maryanne) Ledford, Toby (Sandy) Ledford, Bonnie (Bruce) Warf, George (Jeanne) Ledford, Charlie (Deby) Ledford, Jackie Ledford-Yancy, Howard (Lisa) Ledford, Jr.; numerous cousins including, Jennifer (Tim) Ridner, Nikki (Ed) Baker, Haylee Boyd, Heather Boyd-Irons, Evie Boyd-Irons, Kelly (Josh Daunhauer) Ledford, Katy (Shane) Feeny; and countless other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Oral Calvin Crawford and Howard Ledford; grandmother, Lucy Ledford; and uncles, Michael and Bill Ledford. Friends will be received on Saturday, August 21, 2021, starting at 3:00 p.m. at Witzler-Shank-Walker Funeral Home – Walbridge, 701 N. Main Street, Walbridge, OH (419-666-3121), where a Memorial Service will take place at 7:00 p.m. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to Athens Baptist Church, 101 Breckman Street, Walbridge, OH 43465.
