Dannie S. Hamlin

Dannie S Hamlin, age 70, died on Wednesday, August 14, 2024 at Parker Terrace Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Toledo, Ohio

He was born on May 29, 1954 in Jackson, Mi to Maurice R. and Emmy J. (Manns) Hamlin. His father, Maurice preceded him in death and his mother, Emmy J. Fox survives Detroit, MI. On September 26, 1975 Dannie married the love of his life Hope Ann Geisel and she survives in Holland, Ohio.

Dannie retired from Conrail Railroad in Toledo, was a member of the American Legion #646 and a volunteer firefighter in Holland. Dannie loved playing pool, boating, camping, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren.

Dannie is survived by a son Chad (Jamie) Hamlin of Toledo, grandchildren: Abigail, Tyler, Kenna and Kade, great-grandchildren: Chandler and Remington.

Brothers: Craig (Dana) Hamlin of Monclova, Neil (Becky) Cooper of Dunkirk and Dennis Cooper of Detroit, MI: three sisters: Rena (John) Jordan of Waterville, Deanna (Ronnie) Wages of Ada and Debbie (Steve) Behrens of Erie, MI; a sister-in-law, Brenda Hamlin of Dola and Rhonda Hamlin of Toledo, and many nieces and nephews

Dannie was preceded in death by a son, Dannie Hamlin; four brothers: Rick Hamlin, Terry Hamlin, Todd Hamlin and Allan Hamlin.
