Daniel "Crabby" Chatfield

Daniel “Crabby” A. Chatfield of Lyons, Ohio passed away on March 15, 2025 surrounded by his loved ones. He was born to Richard N. Chatfield Sr. and Phyllis C. Chatfield, on January 26, 1961, in Toledo, Ohio. Daniel loved going to many NHRA events, as well as, going up to Milan Dragway to run his own dragster. He also enjoyed spending lots of time with his grand children and was a fan of the Dallas Cowboys and The Ohio State Buckeyes.

Surviving is his wife, Jackie L. (Chandler) Chatfield; son, Jason (Julia) Chatfield and daughters Sara Chatfield and Stephanie Hannah; sister, Jacqueline Watson and brother, Clarence (Darlene) Chatfield; and grandchildren Levi, Cassidy, James, Jonathan, Daniel, Ellowyn and a new grand baby on the way. Along with many nieces and nephews. He is proceeded in death by his parents; in laws, John and Nadia Chandler; brother, Richard (Mary) Chatfield Jr; sister, Mary Beth Chatfield and 2 sister in laws.

Family and friends will be received on Monday March 24, 2025, from 5:00pm-8:00pm, at The Ray Neville Chapel at Sunrise Cremations and Funerals, Holland, 7438 Airport Hwy., 419-269-1111, where services will be held on Tuesday March 25, 2025 at 11:00am, where family and friends will be received after 10:00am. Internment at Toledo Memorial Park will immediately follow the service.
