Dan Maza

Dan Maza was born April 5, 2002 to Anastasie Ngendakumana and Desire Nizigiyimana. He had 3 sisters and 2 brothers. Deanna Maza 15 years who lived with Dan until his last days. Four other siblings live in Burundi where his father is right now. Beraca Nizgiyimana 15 years, Owen Nizgiyimana, 12 years. Natalee Nizigiyimana, 5 years, Erana Nziza, 2 years

He was a good child, very kind and smart. He went to Queen of Apostles Elementary and Middle School and St. Francis DeSales High School. During the pandemic he started working at Kroger where he started as a bagger when he was 16 years old and later Chipotle, Tim Hortons and Hot Head Burrito.

He loved taking pictures and his favorite snack was popcorn. I wish I could have more time with him. I just find it hard to understand. In middle school he enjoyed soccer, cross country where he earned a lot of medals, trophies and recognition.

He will always stay with me in my heart.

My daughter Deanna just lost a brother at the same time a parent for her. He raised Deanna since she was a baby.
