Dale L. Never

Dale Larry Never, 70, of Tecumseh, MI, passed away January 5, 2017 in his home. Dale was born to Melvin and Mildred (Goss) Never on April 8, 1946 in Toledo, OH. He married the love of his life, Marilyn Addis, on January 2nd 1968. Dale served as a Merchant Marine. One of Dales many achievements include working on the SS Edmund Fitzgerald. After returning home, he worked maintenance for Midwest Microwave, and retired in 2008. Dale enjoyed fixing and tinkering around with cars. He absolutely loved to laugh and tell stories. Dale loved his girls with every inch of his being. Everybody loved him, and he would give the shirt off his back to anyone who needed it. Dale is survived by his loving wife Marilyn; children Dawn Dastoli and Marilyn Suzie (Joseph) ONeil; grandchildren Danielle, David, Dale, Nina, Ian; siblings Viola Vi Palmer, Melvin Never, Jerry Never, Danny Never; beloved friend and companion Zoey. Dale is preceded in death by his parents, and six brothers. Friends are welcome to H.H. Birkenkamp Funeral Home (3219 Tremainsville Road Toledo, OH 43613 419-473-1301) on Sunday, January 8, 2017 from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Services will be held Monday, January 9, 2017 at H.H. Birkenkamp Funeral Home at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Toledo Memorial Park. The family wishes to thank the staff at Promedica Hospice for their love and compassion through this difficult time.
