Dale F. Fravor

Dale F. Fravor, age 86, of Toledo, passed away on Friday, October 26, 2012 at Toledo Hospital. He was born in Toledo, on July 17, 1926, son of Milton and Amelia (Smith) Fravor. He served in the United States Navy, stationed on U.S.S. West Virginia. He married Joyce E. Weber on July 26, 1952. Dale was employed as an electrician at Champion Spark Plug for 36 years, retiring in 1983. He was involved with the Champion Retiree Group, serving as an officer, going on trips and being a team bowler. Dale was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 56 years, Joyce Fravor; his son in law, John Gould and siblings, Gordon Fravor, Lyle Fravor and Bertha Bahnsen. Dale is survived by his loving children, Julie Gould, Rick (Deb) Fravor Sr. and Allen Fravor; grandchildren, Stephanie (Andrew) Ferguson, Carrie (Robert Rivera) Baxter , James (Kim Olejownik) Fravor, Jennifer (James) Forrest, Rick Fravor, Jr. and Terry (Melissa Russell) Casiano; great-grandchildren, Nathan Kowalski, Jacob Kowalski, Alayna Ferguson, Audrey Ferguson , Lauren Baxter, Haley Baxter, Brandon Fravor, Cayla Fravor, Jasolyn Tipton, Taylor Forrest, Emma Forrest, Ciena Casiano and Brayden Clauson; brother, Kenneth Fravor and many nieces and nephews. Friends and family may visit Monday, October 29, 2012 from 3:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at H.H. Birkenkamp Funeral Home, 3219 Tremainsville. (419-473-1301). Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
