Christine Miko

Christine graduated from Bedford High School in 1975. Christine had worked as a clerk until she ultimately got to retire. She was a resident of Luna Pier, MI and loved the color purple. Christine loved crafting and sewing. She especially loved to sew Halloween costumes and outfits for others and loved seeing people enjoy wearing them. Family and friends meant a great deal to Christine as she loved to visit with them and make them feel loved and share laughs. She had a big heart and would do everything in her power to help as many people as she could.

Christine is preceded by her parents Gailbraith Byrd and Phyllis Byrd; and her son Richard Miko.

Christine is survived by her siblings Pamela Jackson and Richard Allen DeCius; nieces and nephews Jennifer (Jake) A. Gorny, Beth Ann (Darrell) Patterson, Richard Jackson, Sonya R. Wagonfield, Tara A. Miko, and Phyllis (William) A. Coley; great nieces and nephews Brianna, Christian, Allysa, Tyler, Travis(Angel), Trenton (Emilia), Trista, Tryna, Asher, Remi, Zenick, Garret, Jaydian, Jaylin, Jayla, Jameson, and Callysta.

Friends will be received on Friday January 10, 2025 from 1 PM until 3 PM at Blanchard Strabler Funeral Home.
