Christian (Chris) Michael Lamb (58) of Toledo Ohio passed away unexpectedly at his home, Monday January 22nd 2024. Chris was born December 18th 1965 to Mike Carlucci and Bonnie Bucklew and was later adopted by Mark Lamb (they all survive). Chris is father to Allison and Alex Lamb (they survive), he married Jodi Scherley on April 15th 2017 and she survives. Loving brother to Mary Lamb and stepfather to Rachele Booze (Michael), Steven Booze (Michelle), and Justin Scherley (Sara) they all survive. Poppy to Thomas Booze and Mia Wilson and proud pet father to Holly and Shadow. In his childhood Chris could always be found playing with kids from the old neighborhood, finding new places to explore and trouble to get in. Always seeking to serve others from the elderly across the street with yard work or donating his time to help out other boy scouts while in high school. Chris graduated from Devilbiss High School in 1984 where he was heavily involved in marching band, Jazz band and orchestra. He had a knack for building strong relationships with those he was around and at the places he worked. From his time at Kinkos (1988-1999), Maritz Research (1999-2015) and Namsa (2015 -Present) Chris made many friends along the way. He was proud of his knowledge of computer science and his ability to help others with their I.T. needs. He joined NAMSA in 2015 as a Desktop Administrator. During his time at NAMSA he supported multiple locations with IT needs leveraging his knowledge of many applications in LabWare systems. Chris attained numerous Microsoft certifications and recently certified as a Labware Administrator. Chriss knowledge of lab instrument interfaces and system configuration as well as his warm personality enabled him to be a strong partner to the lab team (one of many of his achievements). When not working Chris donated his time and services helping friends set up their Wi-Fi, fix computers and give tech advice. He also donated numerous hours of time to the YMCA (Camp Storer), Relay for Life, Project IAM, Northview high school theater productions and marching Band. While not completing a degree from the University of Toledo, he was a proud Alumni and member of the Rockets marching band and supported the Band by volunteering at Alumni games. As a lover of music Chris appreciated many genres and could play several instruments, he was a classically trained bassist and even preformed with the Toledo Symphony on several occasions.Chris was a man of many talents, some would say there is nothing Lambo cant do Whether it was gardening, baking, cooking, building, wood working, 3D printing and yes even knitting he was a pro at it. He loved to D.J. and tinker with light displays and assist in creative works with local bands. His favorite hobbies were fishing, gaming, bowling and supporting his friends and kids and telling corny dad jokes. He was a grill master and single handedly kept costco in business. He was the best husband and dad ever and will be missed dearly by so many. memorial service Saturday, January 27, 2024 4:30 PM Blanchard-Strabler Funeral Home 3219 Tremainsville Toledo OH 43613 United States blanchardstrabler.com Visitation Saturday, January 27, 2024 2:00 PM - 4:30 PM Blanchard-Strabler Funeral Home 3219 Tremainsville Toledo OH 43613 United States blanchardstrabler.com
