Christian Courey

Christian Nicholas Courey, 19, formerly of southeastern Michigan, now residing in Toledo Ohio, died on September 14, 2021, unexpectedly at his home. He was born November 29, 2001 in Rochester Hills, MI. He is the son of Tracie Estes Rosol of Toledo, Ohio and Michael Courey of Macomb Township, MI. He attended Utica Schools in Michigan and graduated from Job Corps in Flint, MI in 2019. He worked at Home Depot in Toledo recently, until Aug 2021, and was currently working full time at Meijer in Toledo. Christian had a huge, loving, compassionate heart, always helping and being there for family, friends and even strangers that appeared to need help. The loving nature, mischievous humor, gorgeous eyes and huge smile that he was born with will be greatly missed by all. He will be waiting for us in heaven, because he loved our Lord and Savior.In addition to his parents, Christian is survived by his step father, Bob Rosol of Chesterfield, MI, his step mother Andi Courey of Macomb Township, MI, his sister Amanda (Tom) Wilkerson, his brother Pvt. Brandon Courey, his sister Charley Courey, his maternal grandparents Ken & Colleen Estes of Lake City, MI, his paternal grandparents D. Lee Courey of Sterling Heights, MI and Shirley Courey of MI, his Uncle Wade Estes of Lake City, MI, his nephew Damon Wilkerson, niece Brynlee Wilkerson, his golden retriever Moses and kitty Chip. He is also survived by many cousins, friends and co-workers.The first of two Memorial Services being held is on Monday, September 20, 2021 at 1PM at Holly Baptist Church, 15030 N. Holly Rd, Holly, MI 48442, with a luncheon following immediately afterwards in the Family Life Center at the Church. The family looks forward to meeting those who knew Christian and hearing of events and ways of the lives and people he may have touched in his short life.
