Charlotte Benner

Benner, Charlotte 1929 2017 Charlotte Marie Benner passed peacefully in her home surrounded by family on Wednesday, December 27, 2017. She was born in Toledo, Ohio to John Clarence Hapgood and Helen Esther Kunckel. She married Arthur D. Benner Sr. on October 12, 1946, together they had seven (7) children and enjoyed 56 years of marriage until his passing in December of 2002. Charlotte was employed at J.C. Penny's as a stock room manager for 15 years until she retired. Charlotte attended the Rock church in Oregon. She is preceded in death by her husband Art, son Don, and daughter Cathy (Dale) Murphy. Her surviving children are Linda (Ken) Otte, Kerry (Bob) Schultz, Sue Benner (Terry Myerholtz), Brenda Mancini, Lori (Doug) Barber and sister Penny Cook. Charlotte had 21 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, nephew and nieces. Charlotte was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her love for family, her humor and her generosity will forever be remembered. A memorial service and luncheon for the family is planned for Saturday, January 13, 2017.
