Charlotte M. Ball

Charlotte M. Ball, 91, of Toledo, OH passed away on Sunday, June 10, 2018 at Aspen Grove Assisted Living in Lambertville, MI, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on September 16, 1926 in Toledo, OH to George and Hazel (Cole) Hester and she married Frank Ball on Aug 10, 1946. They celebrated 50 years of marriage in 1996. Charlotte managed Franklin Ice Cream for several years and later spent over 20 years with K-Mart before retiring. She loved going to casinos and traveling, as well as gardening. Charlotte also enjoyed cookouts and spending time with her family. Charlotte is survived by her children, Frank (Janice) Ball and Carolyn Maynhart; grandchildren, Frank (Sue) Maynhart, Wendy (Matthew Scott) Mahoney, Melissa (Ed) Fisher, Michelle (Scott) Carter and Jaimie (Jason) Foster; 10 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; sisters, Florence Wilson and Vera Miller- Kindel and brother, Earl Hester. Friends will be received on Friday, June 15, 2018 from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. in Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, Trilby, 3219 Tremainsville Rd, Toledo, OH 43613 (419-473-1301) where funeral services will be held after the visitation at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Donations may be played at the casino of the donors choice in Charlottes memory.
