Charlotte C. Avalos

Charlotte C. Avalos, age 81 of Toledo, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. She was born in Toledo on January 20, 1931 to Clyde and Emma Light. Charlotte was preceded in death by her beloved grandson, Carl Burling. She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Frank Avalos, her daughters: Christina Shepherd, Frances (David) Mills, Margaret (Carl) Burling, Annette (Greg) Carter and Charlotte (Michael) Rozich, 12 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren, her siblings; William Light, Jerry (Carol) Light, Charles (Judy) Light and Ruth (Gary) Horton. Visitation for friends and family will be at H. H. Birkenkamp Funeral Home, 3219 Tremainsville Rd (at Alexis) 419-473-1301 on Sunday, November 18 from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm, with Rosary Service beginning at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will begin Monday, November 19 in the funeral home at 9:15 am to follow with a Mass of the Christian Burial at Regina Coeli, 530 Regina Coeli Parkway at 10:00 am.
