Charles William Wagoner

Charles William Wagoner, age 100, born October 24, 1925, passed away on May 5, 2026, at Kingston of Sylvania. He was married to the love of his life, Norma Belle Carothers, for 73 years. Together they were blessed with 5 daughters, Linda (Bob) Schings, Judith (Richard) Frey, Rosemary (Ted) Czlapinski, and Laura (Dan) Teczinski. He is also survived by one brother, Don Wagoner, 12 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and 17 great-great-grandchildren. Charles was preceded in death by daughter, Charlotte, and grandson, Ted Czlapinski Jr.

Charles was a proud WWII Veteran. He was employed at Dohler Jarvis for 13 years, Community Traction, and TARTA for 33 years. He was a member of Knight Templar, Triue Chapter #344, Scottish Rites, Stomer Commandery #59, Fort Miami Calument Chapter #191, Stars, and LST Scuttbutt.

A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at 7:00 PM at Christ the Word Church, 3100 Murd Rd and Central Ave in Sylvania, Ohio 43560.
